I shared the girls’ birth stories earlier this fall as part of Baby Week, and as promised, here’s Jackson’s:
I spent most of this pregnancy worried that Jackson was not in the correct position for labor and wouldn’t turn in time. I’m not sure why that was my fear this time since I had a successful head-down VBAC between Parker’s emergency c-section and this time, but I found myself hyper-vigilant about it and constantly trying to figure out what position he was in.

This week, I shared the stories of our daughters’ births — and while reliving those stories was fun (especially since I’d written them all immediately after each of their births and was reminded of a few details as I was editing them!), what I love most is to read other people’s birth stories.
Yes, with our oldest daughters, I was that mom that kept the TV tuned to TLC’s A Baby Story constantly, and one of my all-time favorite birth stories is this one about surprise breech twins born on the side of the road. For real!
